La-Z-Boy comfort
We invented the reclining chair and we've been perfecting it for over 70 years. Nobody has put more effort into perfecting the art of comfort than La-Z-Boy. We've been following in the footsteps of our founders Edward Knabusch and Edwin Shoemaker since 1927. Until Knabusch and Shoemaker, nobody had thought to design a chair to recline - strange but true. The inspiration didn't stop there; the addition of upholstery turned the original outdoor recliner into an indoor seat which quickly became the world's best seller. Morgan Furniture, a family owned business, picked up the La-Z-Boy License in 1968 and has been supplying New Zealand with La-Z-Boy Recliners and lounge suites ever since. In fact we have supplied more La-Z-Boy Recliners to New Zealanders than there are homes in New Zealand. Our problem is our furniture lasts to long and is not replaced often enough! With this long history comes loyality, you can trust when you are buying a La-Z-Boy Recliner or Lounge Suite supplied by Morgan Furniture, you are buying quality product from a supplier who is not going to be gone tomorrow.
